Java Developer Minimum Qualifications · Four-year college degree and approximately: 6+ years of relevant experience for a senior level developer, 3-6 years for a mid-level developer, and 1-2 years for a junior level developer. · Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government background check (Public Trust Level) and must meet eligibility requirements · US Citizen Required Qualifications · B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant technical field · Possess a combination of the following: o Experience in designing and building traditional or cloud applications. o At least 1 years’ experience with developing applications in Java 8 or Java 11 o Experience working with Java web frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot o Knowledge and experience working with traditional or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases o Experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket) o Demonstrated experience with some of the following: HTML5, JSON, XML o Experience developing REST APIs using Spring Boot and JPA o Able to work and collaborate remotely, be self-directed, work independently and communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Some combination of the following: · Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net etc. · Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) · Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and an understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases, CI/CD, serverless computing etc. · Experience with ETL or data integration tools such as Informatica, Apache Nifi, AWS Glue · Experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular, VueJS, React etc.) · Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce or Zendesk · Experience with Business Rules Engines (BRE)/Decision Management Suite (DMS) solutions such as Drools and Camunda · Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or Selenium.
